RockyMountainGrandeur

This painting is special to me in many ways.  It was my first TRUE attempt to make a painting using only the palette knife.  I had experimented with it, but never completed a painting on purpose.  I was following an instructional book, using their reference, trying to get the technique down.  I thought it needed something more of interest - so I added the bear family.  I learned a great deal from this exercise and was pleased with the outcome.  I have since moved on using the palette knife quite a bit more with confidence.

This painting is mounted on 1/4" foam board making it simple to use a standard frame.  Frame pictured not included.
